You will survey your assigned area and identify any relevant opportunities You will be responsible for assessing storm or other related damage to roofs and bringing this to the attention of the homeowner You will be expected to educate the homeowner and book a consultation with one of our experienced storm inspectors You will be required to take detailed notes, including photographs to be updated into the company CRM and made available to the storm inspectors if needed You will be responsible for ensuring your sales pipeline is regularly updated You will be required to work in a team-oriented environment as well as autonomously at times What are we looking for? We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong background in sales, and the ability to provide information on a range of products. Ideally, someone who can intimately relate to people face-to-face and sell what we do without coming across as aggressive. We are looking for someone with great enthusiasm who can build relationships across the industry and who has a good knowledge base in construction, specifically roofing. As well as this the following are required: Valid driver’s license and vehicle Previous experience in the roofing/construction industry would be beneficial Previous sales skills would be beneficial A willingness to learn and a good work ethic Strong communication skills Motivated and enthusiastic Strong organizational skills What are we offering? For this position, we’re offering a potential compensation package of $100,000+ made up of performance-based pay and commission based on canvassing performance (150-600 per appointment).
