For some reason, conservatives keep deleting this post. Apparently, they are afraid of the following question: If the parties didn't change their positions, then please explain why the conservative South, known as the bible belt of America, mysteriously abandoned generations of voting Democrat in favor of the Republican party during the mid 20th century?
