"They (Conservatives) refused to stay with a democrat party who destroyed the black family by removing the need for a father figure who spent his day providing for his family and replaced it with johnson's great society where the government took the place of the father" ......................Finally, a conservative who unwittingly acknowledges that the KKK was formed under the conservative party when they called themselves Democrats but now call themselves Republicans since, as Democrats, they abandoned the African American community, due to racism, and basically SWITCHED affiliations. That explains why the Republicans, who used to be the liberal party against slavery and racism and known as the party of Lincoln, became the party that adopted Jim Crow laws, red lining and segregation as their new mantra during the Johnson era. Everything Lincoln had fought against. They pulled the big switcheroooo! I'm guessing you didn't expect to shoot yourself in the foot by throwing out Johnson to prove my point but it was proven just the same despite your feeble attempt to push a few false narratives around "govt as the father" bullshit. BTW, if you guys (Republicans) (Conservatives) hadn't abandoned African Americans, you would have won the last election and you wouldn't be here whining all day long about how the world is against you and your party isn't as corrupt as you think. Just sayin!
