That's not at issue here. We're talking about major voting bases and broad trends, not a few "people". That VAST majority of Democrats are liberal; the VAST majority of Republicans are conservative. Again, common knowledge if you possess a smidgen of education or basic awareness of reality. "So based off that fact I am going to say people of both parties have members in the KKK but that doesn't change history on who started it which was the Democrats." Irrelevant. ALL KKK members are extreme right conservatives, regardless of past or current party label. TODAY, the KKK are squarely, undeniably, inalterably, without any doubt whatsoever...REPUBLICANS. Do you comprehend this fact??
