DRUMMER for Established Local Alt-Rock Band ELECTRIC CONDOR
Meets
Denver CO
Description
ELECTRIC CONDOR is Looking for a drummer for our all original, modern Dancy alt/garage "rock" band, with a little national exposure, and a lot of experience. Here is our linktree with all our social media linktr.ee/electriccondor Please make sure all this stuff works for you before hitting us up.We have a contract in the works for 2 Five songs EPs and we are trying to deliver them in the next 16 months, along with support shows in and out of town. We have an album, a few singles, and a few more singles ready to go. Along with shows already booked and more to come. We play out almost every other weekend. ( I hate trying to describe what it sounds like, so just hit up the links below, there is a lot of Strokes,BRMC,QOTSA type influence, but not limited to ) -previous experience playing shows and being in bands would be very helpful....ambition is great, and can count for a lot more than technical prowess, but this won't be a great gig for "hobbyist". Please have SOME previous band and recording experience and ADD LINKS to your reply email. Also, Male or Female doesn't matter, We're looking for Talent, drive and ambition. -It would help if you were an active member of the music scene or at least someone who still goes to shows, hangs out at bars, is friends with musicians and such. The success of the band hinges on crowd turn out to shows, and word of mouth is still the best advertisement there is. -Have your own drum set. A good three piece kit would work just fine. We have a semi professional three piece kit at our practice for auditioning purposes, but you'll eventually need a "show ready" kit. -Transportation is necessary, for you and gear. Travel to and from shows can be arranged differently, but getting gear, and your body, to and from practice is a must. We have a Practice space at Sound Structure studios behind the Walnut Room bar. We split the room with another musician and our half is $277. If whoever comes aboard would like to keep their gear at the space then we like to split our half three ways. This allows full access to the space, any day, any time. We like to set aside Tues,Thurs,Sat as rehearsal days. This doesn't mean we need to rehearse on all three days, just that we have specific days to chose from. We would like to get whoever comes in up to speed on the material relatively fast as we have a few deadlines we would like to meet.Once we get up to speed we can adjust timelines to meet everyone's schedules. We like to have at least two "show rehearsals" before a show. That's where we get our timing and breaks and such down like we are actually playing a show. -Financially you should be able to cover the costs of what you need.. -I hate to have to type this, but society being what it is, and as divided as it is, I have to. If you voted for 45, or lean more right than left, it's probably best you don't reply. CONGRATULATIONS, you made it this far! I know this sounds like a lot, but we are both very driven and realistically would like to make this something bigger than just playing local shows to an empty room. other then that, our link tree account is linktr.ee/electriccondor That should get you everything we have for social media. If this sounds like something you might be capable and willing to pursue, hit me up, and we'll chat ............MAKE SURE TO PUT "MALORT RULZ" in the title of your email....cause that's ridiculous and NO ONE would ever send an email with that title.... If you fail to do this the email will be deleted immediately.
