Oak Ridge Country Club is looking for a full time maintenance assistant. The position is a full-time year round, benefited position with a starting wage up to $26.00.
The interested applicant should possess the following:
- Specific skill-based competencies required to operate equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools,
- The ability to adhere to safety practices; the ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
- the ability to perform simple math, read a variety of manuals, write documents to present information to others, and understand complex, multi-step written and oral instructions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities, and work under tight time constraints
- The ability to work under limited supervision following standardized practices
The primary responsibilities for the job are as follows:
- Maintain and make general repairs to plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, appliances, ventilation systems and building structures of the club.
- Perform various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry, and other general repair and maintenance duties.
- Assist the Facilities Engineer with cleaning and repair in preparation for the opening of the Pool, Pool Cabana, Tennis Building and other areas of the Club as needed and assigned.
