Looking for help trapping stray kittens and mom cat

Anyone have any experience trapping a family of cats who can lend traps or offer advice? I would like to try and tame the cats so they can be spayed and neutered and get homes. The humane society says someone will contact me but I'm not sure when and the mom cat is injured so I would like to help them ASAP. I'm in SE Bend.
