High Energy Rock Band Seeking Dedicated Drummer
Meets
Phoenix AZ
Description
My name is Joe Barans and I am the guitarist/songwriter in the high-energy, instrumental rock band Breaklot. This band is a duo and uses backing tracks that feature orchestral instruments, ambient synths, and vocal samples. Breaklot has performed at venues around Arizona for 5 years, including The Rebel Lounge, Crescent Ballroom, Mesa Arts Center, Paradise Valley Community College Performing Arts Center, and Club Red (prior to its closure in 2021). Breaklot has also been consistently performing at First Fridays in Downtown Phoenix, through connections with the Roosevelt Row Community Development Corporation and Roosevelt Row Artists Advisory Council. Our slots were secured through RRAAC and were confirmed in advance of our performances. Our most recent performance was on October 8th, 2022 at a benefit concert I organized for Roosevelt Row Artists Advisory Council and Phoenix Center for the Arts. I am seeking a dedicated drummer who is comfortable with performing live consistently and traveling out of state for gigs. Breaklot has an hour set of all original material, with more songs ready to be added. There are time signature changes within songs, and occasionally tempo changes as well. Click tracks / metronomes are an integral part of our live performances. Breaklot has management, financial backing, and working relationships with local promoters. I am 21 years old, and I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Marketing & Advertising. I currently work as a Public Relations Assistant at Schneider-Rondan Organization Public Relations, whose clients include Ozzy Osbourne, Papa Roach, and Nothing More. I am affiliated with the following organizations: National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Roosevelt Row Community Development Corporation (RRCDC) Roosevelt Row Artists Advisory Council (RRAAC) If interested, please reach out! I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Joe Barans
