looking for driven, hardworking, and SMILING individuals to help us in our booth for a few upcoming events (work can be ongoing if the fit is right) SA Beer Fest (Saturday 10/15) location: Crockett Park 1300 N Main Ave estimate of times needed to work (can vary): 11am-7pm Festival times: 12pm-6:30pm Dia de los Muertos @ Hemisfair (Saturday 10/29) location: Hemisfair 630 E Nueva St. estimate of times needed to work (will be broken up into shifts): 9am-12am let me know what time of day and how many hours you are available to work at the booth and I will give you a schedule! Festival times: 10am-11pm Dia de los Muertos @ Hemisfair (Sunday 10/30) location: Hemisfair 630 E Nueva St. estimate of times needed to work (will be broken up into shifts): 11am-10pm let me know what time of day and how many hours you are available to work at the booth and I will give you a schedule! Festival times: 12pm-9pm Pay is $10/hr base pay + a tip share among the booth: you can typically average $16+/hr with the tip share. I will give you cash at the end of your shift. Please wear comfortable but appropriate clothing, festive is great! Also, to comply with health inspection codes- please bring a baseball cap to wear incase. I will have hairnets should you forget (but I'm sure you'd look better in a hat lol) Duties include: -unloading/loading the car -assisting in tent setup -proper handling of food items: if you're unfamiliar with food handling, I will send you a quick rundown prior to event -on grill: heating and filling tortillas + adding taco toppings (proteins are already made by us, you just need to fill and plate the tacos) -on cash register: take and write down orders, accept proper payment, and give out appropriate orders while being friendly and energetic You will need to become familiar with both positions as I may have you switch positions. Additional duties could include refilling containers, restocking plates, cups, etc. or standing outside of our booth to promote/sell. P.S.- we're a totally plant-based Mexican Food Company.
