Jobs Available for The UPMC Rink at PPG Place, the outdoor ice rink in downtown Pittsburgh in the PPG Plaza. The UPMC Rink at PPG Place is now hiring friendly and courteous staff for all positions available including possible assistant managers, cashiers, and ice rink skate staff. Come and work at the Coolest Spot in Town! Those wishing to be skate staff must be able to ice skate and own their own skates and have them before orientation in early November. All positions require the ability to work outdoors/indoors during the season which runs from Mid-November until the end of February. Wages range from $13-$16 an hour depending on experience and position. Applications can be filled out and open interviews will be held at the rink’s skate rental office, Wednesday, October 19th – Sunday, October 23rd at the following times: Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 11 am - 4 pm Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 5 pm – 9 pm Friday, October 21, 2022, from 1 pm - 5 pm Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11 am - 4 pm Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 4 pm - 7 pm All applications and inquiries must be done in person as on-site interviews will take place when you fill out your application.
