Over the last 2/3 months i have been trying to find my cat, Wally. He was a indoor outdoor kitty who is extremely friendly and usually just stuck to our complex. I do know with as friendly as he is maybe someone picked him up. He did have a blue collar on however if it gets tugged it comes off easily. (so it wouldnt choke him if he got stuck) I saw no sign of struggle anywhere indicating he was hit by a car or attacked, so I am praying he was just picked up by a family. We miss him very much.
