First, I want you to know that there is true freedom to be found from addiction and that freedom comes from God. Now listen closely, I said from God, NOT from religion. Knowing that difference is the key to your freedom. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is the same power that frees the addict. Look, it's not about finding some crazy psychologist or some lengthy 12 step program, and it's certainly not about YOUR willpower to change. It's all about a "total surrender" to Jesus Christ and allowing HIS power to change you from within.
