I was a homeschooling mom and I am a homeschooling grandmother who has taken care of children for twenty-seven years. I have excellent references from the families I have served through the years. I have no criminal history and have served in the Army and in the fire service as a firefighter/ dispatcher, and in law enforcement as a patrol, DARE, and School Resource Officer. I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I provide a loving, clean, safe home environment for your child. Children typically start with me when they are babies and leave when they go to kindergarten though some have remained for homeschooling. I maintain an immaculate home and we have a large backyard with a playground. I maintain a schedule throughout the day but I am very flexible. I would rather a child feel as if they are at home with me and get lots of snuggles and play but we also do daily activities during the school year. I am very grateful that my children have had so few incidences of strep, cold, or stomach viruses through the years. No RSV outbreaks, foot and mouth disease, whooping cough, rotavirus, and other illnesses usually passed around at daycare. If a child is ill I catch it early to prevent other children from getting something. I am a former Army triage nurse and I taught CPR for ten years at our community college. I am also very proud to say that they all begin school performing at or above grade level including reading and math skills.
