This individual will Assist, maintain, and support IP and Digital Telephone Communications Systems and network infrastructure related activities for clients. The individual will primarily cable, install and support Business IP Telephone systems, Video Surveillance Cameras and Systems and various networking devices but will also may be responsible to assist with install, configuration and troubleshooting of a much wider variety of systems, cabling, devices and applications. On the job training and Most work is done 8-5 M-F. Other Duties include but not limited to the following: Exercise good customer-relations. Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 pounds, able to climb ladders and/or use lift, Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, specifications, and operational/product manuals. Use a variety of hand and power tools to install all required boxes, wiring, devices, and all communication equipment, or IP devices as directed and/or specified. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in cabling, electronics, networking or work equivalent. Applicant must possess computer skills and be capable to learn. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Background (or basic understanding) of computer networks required. VoIP, Surrveilance, and low voltage voice and data cabling experience is also a plus. Must have a valid Missouri driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
