Touring-Road Musicians needed: Beach-flavored island Country/Americana, upbeat and positive at all times. READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE YOU RESPOND. I NEED THE INFO I ASK FOR OR I WILL NOT RESPOND. In search of: Keyboards/ if you can double on steel drum and/or marimba that is a huge plus Steel drum/marimba. (Marimba is already part of the artist's equipment) Drummer/Hand Percussion (Congas and percussion instruments are already part of the artist’s equipment) Bassist Electric guitar Backup vocals/harmony is a big plus This is a scheduled tour with a guaranteed minimum salary but I need you to tell me what your expectations in salary are BEFORE I respond to you. THIS IS NOT A UNION GIG. DATES: Gigs start live on Nov.19 and go through New Year's Eve. There will be a break from just after New Year to March 1st and then touring will resume again from March 1 to the next new year. PLEASE NOTE: There is a 10-day Cruise ship trip around the Hawaiian islands next October (in case that is a deal breaker) *I pay for rehearsals, shows, rooms, transportation, and meals. Auditions will be scheduled soon. 3 Songs will be provided to you when auditions are scheduled and you will be expected to bring those songs to life when you arrive at the audition. The material will be learned before showing up to rehearsal! The touring set will start with 15 songs and we add and change several songs a week. _ SEND ME: 1) Links to you LIVE even if it is just a phone video of you propped in the corner. I need to hear you play music in the genre of Kenny Chesney's Blue Chair, Jimmy Buffett, or other island-sounding music. 2) Your salary expectations, will keep you happy for an extended tour schedule. 3) Any other information you think I should know about or want to convey to me can also be added. This is a ZERO drug tolerance gig. You will have to submit to having a background check after you win the audition but considerations are made when the reasons are right. Substance abuse while in employment will cause termination.
