As a pet waste representative at HEROES Lawn Care, you will be responsible pet waste removal in your territory As a successful tech, you will not only assist in keeping the client’s lawn free of pet waste, but will be able to spot concerns, find the solution and maintain a healthy lawn for the customer by suggesting services provided by our other divisions. Sales will play a big part of this role as it will feed the other two service lines and there are bonuses available based on metrics. Responsibilities: • Production goals-works diligently with the Senior Tech in obtaining monthly production goals • Identification-of insects, weeds, and diseases as it relates to job function and implement appropriate control solutions • Communication-able to interact with clients and also branch personnel as to activities as it relates to the clients • Equipment and Warehouse-ensures standards of cleanliness are being adhered to daily • Responsible for organization of equipment and products in your assigned vehicle • Ensures proper disposal of all pet waste • Safety-responsible for personal, equipment and vehicular safety as it relates to job requirements • Provide service to residential customers by diagnosing and suggesting lawn care services by cross marketing our other divisions within Heroes Lawn Care • Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each account (A company vehicle is provided) • Providing additional services through aeration, soil amendment, and over seeding • Provide assistance to other services as needed thru seasonality Preferred Qualifications: · Requires 100 % proficiency in product offerings. · Must be able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change · Ability to follow policy and procedures Physical Requirements: · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: · Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. · Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs. · Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice. · Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
