Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming shipments, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Preparing customer orders for shipment. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking for shipments. Loading and unloading product from trucks or containers. Breaking down, separating, and receiving incoming shipments. Moving products to storage areas with proper equipment and expertly stacking and storing the merchandise. Picking orders for shipment and assembling various types of merchandise to be shipped. Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Having the ability to be able to work overtime as required Qualifications Education: HS Diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum 6 months previous warehouse position. Experience with powered industrial trucks, forklift or pallet truck. Ability to control moving equipment at all times Communication: Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Proven ability to communicate effectively and positively with customers, vendors and employees. Computer: Basic computer skills Other Qualifications: Demonstrated attendance reliability. Strong number recognition and correlation Working conditions The IECS Warehouse Associate will be working in a cold storage warehouse environment that can at times reach -10 degrees temperature for long periods of time. Physical requirements Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs., push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to stand 100% of working shift if required by job responsibilities Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental and Vision, PTO (Paid Time Off) and 401(k) matching.
