I'm sure this may be passed off as quixotic, but I'm quite serious. While I know there's no fast track to skill, I'm looking to find a mentor to whip me into shape into becoming a decent player. I can pay, though not a whole lot (at first) due to my circumstances. I could assist in other forms of audio work, or help with some errands. I'm a happy-to-help kind of person. I'm familiar with basic theory, but I need guidance with technique, reading, and the capability to do more than basic scales. Ultimate goal is improv, but I won't get ahead of myself.
