Join us to tie blankets at Madison's newest German beer hall and restaurant, Prost! Enjoy hosted appetizers, a cash bar and meeting other community-minded volunteers. We will provide the materials and instructions to make hand-tied fleece blankets for Project Linus, whose mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets. The handmade blankets will be delivered to children at local hospitals. If you are able to, please pick out and bring your own kid-friendly, 1.5 yards of fleece to make into a blanket. Fleece will be available for those who do not bring their own. About LINC (Lead. Impact. Network. Change.)We are introducing a new generation of philanthropists to United Way.
