A spooky Halloween blues social - no way! We have one of Seattle's finest blues instructors, Lila Faria disseminating and teaching us the Hound Dog routine (by the incredible Dexter Santos), and then the night will be filled with blues music curated by several amazing DJs :D (and yeah, we're definitely doing the routine at some point during the social) Make sure to highlight this in your calendar, and get your friends in on this! We need your support to grow the blues scene here in Seattle - help us spread the word far and wide, and show up for some blues dancing :) Schedule: 7pm - doors open 7:15-8:15pm - lesson! 8:15pm-11pm - blues social Cost - sliding scale. Pay what you can: - tier 1: $5-11 - tier 2: $12 (our "break even") - tier 3: $13-20 It helps us a lot to pre-purchase tickets beforehand, especially logistically with check-in and such. Please do so if you can! Volunteers - we have a limited number of door shifts in exchange for entry to the dance. Please message and reach out about this - we'd love some help with check-in and such.
