Description
I have rescued a few guinea pigs from someone who was managing them incorrectly.
They have been in my care for a while now and are happy and healthy!
I am looking for a home for the last two female guinea pigs in my care.
I estimated that they are close to one year old and they have a lot of personality!
I am still working on their skittishness/socialization, they are easily frightened, but once they are in a lap they are very content.
They love their lettuce, and they will wheek at me when it is time for their vitamin C treat.
Their current names are Thea (the dark brown pig) and Felicity. But I am sure they would not mind if you wanted to change them.
For preventative health reasons, I was able to get both of them spayed, so they are on track to live a long and healthy life!
Because of the high cost of the spays, I was hoping to have an adoption fee for them to help a bit with that cost. This fee can be negotiated, but should be close to other rescue organizations in the area.
I would like them to go to a home with people who are educated in guinea pig care, as I do not want them to end up in the same situation that I rescued them from.
I am more than happy to educate someone on guinea pigs if requested.
I am able to meet anywhere in Oregon. I just want to make sure that they are going to get the care that they need.
Please reach out if you or someone you know might be interested. Thank you.
