Warehouse Supervisor with flooring experience

• Responsible for the entire warehouse, inventory and installation materials • Cutting carpet/vinyl and correcting roll balances • Have full awareness of the daily installation schedule with all needed items in inventory for staging Carpet, padding and flooring material for Installation Crews for next day • Delivery of products to job sites and material pick up from various vendor locations • Receiving deliveries daily from vendors, inspect goods and correctly log material and maintain inventory • Managing “Dead” Inventory and separating and organizing it. • Managing the maintenance of the building, warehouse, trailers, trucks and equipment • Performing other work-related duties as assigned • Keeping warehouse and parking lot neat • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of strong working knowledge of Flooring and Warehouse maintenance standards a plus. • Attention to detail • Forklift operation • Driver’s license and reliable transportation a must • Self- motivated • Ability to lift heavy objects • Requires strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels. Physical Demands: • Work is to be performed in an office, as well as a warehouse environment • Candidate must be able to walk, sit, bend, stoop, stand and be capable of climbing stairs. • Candidate must be capable of climbing ladders, driving or operating equipment • Candidate must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
