Established family owned business in the New Bedford area is searching for a general laborer to blast and paint of high pressure gas cylinders and perform other miscellaneous duties. The ideal candidate must be intelligent, highly motivated, be able to stay on task, follow instructions, maintain an excellent attendance record and keep the paint area clean and maintain paint/painting equipment inventory. Duties will include the following: Operating a cylinder blasting machine Painting cylinders Light janitorial tasks Loading and unloading of trucks Assisting customers Assisting with deliveries We offer a good work environment and a competitive wage. The chosen candidate will be on a 90 day probation period. Once the probation period has ended you will be provided with uniforms and are eligible for medical benefits.
