Westex Security Services, Inc. is currently immediately hiring for (50) new full-time, Mobile Crew Security Officer positions. These are entry-level positions, with no prior security experience required. Hourly wage: $14.75 + additional $30 - $70 travel bonus per shift Mobile Crew officers are earning $17.25 - $20.58 per hour with travel pay included. Overtime rate: $22.13/hr Job Location: Houston and Greater Houston area This is a great job for those that like independent work or working solo and gets to work at different locations with a change of scenery. Position has excellent opportunity for overtime. Description: Duties include reporting to various outdoor job sites (one site per shift), to monitor site, complete foot patrols, ensure site is secure, detect and report any security related activities. Officer will primarily station themselves in their personal vehicle to monitor site for extended periods of time and complete foot patrols of site. On overnight shifts, Officer will call the Security Command Center to report periodic check-ins. Shifts are typically 8-12 hours and weekly issued schedule varies. Days, nights, weekends and holidays required. Position Requirements: Open Availability Valid Driver's License Proof of current auto insurance Have access to a vehicle (no motorcycles) Have a cell phone Minimum Employment Requirements: Be over the age of 18. High School diploma or GED minimum. Willing to submit to drug and alcohol testing. Willing to submit to a background check (no felonies or crimes of moral turpitude). If prior military, provide a DD-214 with honorable discharge. Must be able to meet and maintain state requirements for a non-commissioned security license. We will provide uniforms, assist with non-commissioned security licensure, and provide paid training.
