There's been a young friendly female German Shepherd Mix Dog running around the Zaninovich Senior Apartments in Orange Cove, CA for several weeks now. She's playful with other dogs but doesn't let people touch her. One can get close enough to maybe touch her nose if you have an accompanying friendly dog that she might want to play with or if you bribe her with a snack. It's very sad that someone perhaps abandoned her out here. Or maybe she is lost. Either way, she has no place to go. She sleeps around the apartment complex here and hangs around all day. The local animal shelter service came out to try and take her, but they were not able to capture her. She is not aggressive, although she barks at times, and she likes to play and run. Some of the Residents may like her, some may not. If you are interested in this dog, or if this is your lost dog, maybe you can get her to come to you and take her away and give her a good home as we wouldn't want to see anything bad happen to her living as a stray with no home.
