LOL LOL Liberalism is a mental disorder." ...........................................Silly conservative, the parties began changing their priorities well before the 60's. It's just that during the late 50's into the 60's the Republicans, who, prior to that, had moderate, liberal tendencies abandoned African Americans in order to focus on the "White" vote. Blacks fled the Republican party and adopted the Democratic party since they were no longer pushing such severe racist attitudes like the Jim Crow laws and segregation promoted by the new Republican agenda. If the parties didn't change their positions, then please explain why the south mysteriously abandoned a century of voting Democrat in favor of the Republican party during the mid 20th century.
