Yard Manager A well-established fence company in the north bay is looking for a qualified individual to fill our open position as a Yard Manager. What we require: We are looking for someone that has experience in material sales in the construction industry. Fencing experience is a plus. Has computer knowledge and can use various computer software such as outlook, excel, and word. The ability to manage lower-level staff and instruct the day-to-day processes. Has inventory control experience and maintaining yard inventories. This position is a 40-hour work week from 7:30 am – 4pm M-F. Other qualifications necessary for this position are: Management skill set. People person. The ability to work with the public professionally. Supervise and manage the day-to day functions of the yard and lower-level employees. Maintain the company fleet of vehicles and equipment. Responsible for the over-the-counter material sales. Ability to give material estimates via computer software, verbal and or over the phone. Inventory control experience in maintaining company inventory of materials Purchasing experience in ordering materials from vendors that are required for projects and re-stocking Scheduling experience in maintaining company projects and timelines Current California Driver’s License with no issues Documents required to work in the USA Must have 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory roll or equivalent.
