Join Alan Rumrill, Director of the Historical Society of Cheshire County, to learn about 250 years of history of the neighborhood that includes and surrounds Stonewall Farm! During the tour, Alan will share stories and information about the history of farming, early water-powered mills, a spring water company, and the impact of the railroad that bisected the neighborhood in the 1840s. You will also hear the famous tale of the hog train wreck of 1897.
