Each Box includes 6 specialty items: "Autumn Sprinkles" Sugar Cookie Log - This sugar cookie log includes Autumn-themed sprinkles. Cookie logs are hand prepared and come frozen. Makes 18-24 cookies. Locally-Grown Roasted Sunflower Seeds - These sunflower seeds came from giant sunflowers grown in our Abingdon Community Garden. Seeds were then roasted and packaged by our Commercial Kitchen crew. Jar of fall-flavored Butter or Jelly - A yummy jar of seasonal fruit butters sourced from Appalachian Harvest. "Daisy" Decorative Gourd - This decorative gourd can be dried and decorated. Flower Seed packet - A mixed blend of Spring flower seeds from our Late Bloomers social enterprise. DIY Fall Garland and Activity Pack - Our digital media team has created printable sheets of colorful leaves and other fall decorations to cut out and string into garland. String will be included in the box. Also included are two Autumn activity pages.Pickup for boxes is October 29th from 10 a.m. to 1 pm at these locations: Faith in Action Community Garden at 798 Hillman Highway, Abingdon, VA.YMCA Four Seasons Community Garden at 106 Gratton Road, Tazewell, VA.If you need alternative pickup in Southwest VA or the Tri-Cities area, please email Randi Gabbert at [email protected]. All funds support Groundwork, ASD's workforce development program that provides paid, on the job training and education opportunities across Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. Groundwork helps to provide job security, practical skills, and a genuine opportunity for success for all participants.
