SBIA Annual Mawlid: Celebrating Sahib al-Kawthar (Dinner RSVP)

Assalamu Alaykum, InshaAllah, SBIA will hold its annual Mawlid celebration on Saturday, October 15. This year's event marks a return to the scale prior to the pandemic, InshaAllah. In order to ensure that we are able to serve the community well, we would like you to RSVP for dinner using Eventbrite. Dinner RSVPs will open at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, October 11. The event features inspirational talks by Shaykh Faraz Khan, Maulana Nabi Raza Abidi, and Imam Tahir Anwar and recitations by Sidi Mouaz Nass, Umair Qadri, and Qari Zakarie el Mekkaoui. Childcare will be provided on the 1st floor starting at 6pm. The event will be held on the 2nd floor of the SBIA facility at 2345 Harris Way. Please enter via the main lobby. If the SBIA parking lot is full, we ask that you park at the Purity Park lot [directions] 5:45 Welcome and Reception 6:00 Nasheed and Qasida Burda 6:30 Maghrib 7:00 Dinner 8:00 Isha and program continues followed by salaam and dua Attendees at the event will be able to view a replica of the blessed footprint of the Prophet(S) from the Sultan Ayub Camii in Istanbul at the culmination of the event.
