The Culturally Responsive Institute is a full day professional development symposium focusing on building and maintaining working relationships with the home, school, community, and church. Educators and practitioners will learn how to build intellective capacity, self reflect, establish alliance in the learning partnership, understand cultural identities and their influence on teaching and learning, validate and affirm cultural behaviors through instruction, eliminate the deficit perspective and teach without fear.
Certificate of completion verifies 7.5 hours of training in culturally responsive teaching.
