For the 2nd annual Bikeboom Deaf cycling event in Bentonville, Anneke Beerten, reteired pro mountain bike athlete and now coach will host a skills clinic on Friday afternoon at Coler. This 2 hour event will take place on the Thunderdome trail, the perfect trail to work on learning how to corner and jump!
What you can expect :
- A good time riding bikes!
- Learning the basic fundamentals of mountain skills like body position, how to ride a berm and how to jump safely.
- Explore techniques to create more momentum on the jumps and trails.
- Have a progressive experience that will elevate your tool kit of skills to take onto the trails.
General information:
INTERPRETER WILL BE PROVIDED.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Rider should be comfortable with riding green and some blue trails. This clinic requires using multiple fundamental skills at once.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED / RECOMMENDED: Mountain bike in good working order, E-Bikes are welcome, helmet, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are recommended.
About your coach Anneke Beerten:
Anneke has a huge amount of experience when it comes to riding Bikes. She started racing BMX at the age of 4, won 3 World Championships titles and loves to share her passion for cycling with the rest of the world!
