This documentary follows the service of eight WWII artists/veterans and their use of art as a tactical tool and keeping their sanity. They have served in all theaters and in all branches of the U.S. military, including the once-secret Deception Force, and their powerful images—some done in the field, some years later from haunting memories— Will inspire, challenge and even entertain, showing that war is hell but creativity can exist in the face of destruction.
