The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Orange, CA needs volunteers to help run the resale shop. We are open Monday through Saturday 10AM-5PM, closed Sundays. We need volunteers that can organize clothes and items, put inventory out on the floor, greet customers, or ring up purchases. 16 and 17 year olds can work short shifts (2 to 4 hours). Adults can work 2 to 8 hour shifts. You decide how much you'd like to volunteer. We ask that volunteers commit to a set schedule (e.g. Wednesdays and Fridays from 12 to 5) If you need volunteer hours for school or community service, we can fill out those forms and make sure if this meets your requirements. Volunteers get a discount at the store. All the proceeds of the store go to the American Cancer Society. Respond to this post or come introduce yourself. Thanks!
