Learn how to swing dance! Every Friday Night at the Burbank Moose Lodge, we have Swing Dance Lessons. From 6:45 pm - 7:30 pm we have Jive. This is NOT the ballroom Jive. It's a basic street dance from the 40's and 50's that's done to faster swing music and rockabilly. It's very easy to learn and a lot of fun. From 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm we have Lindy Hop. This is the traditional swing dance that started at the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem. You'll learn the basics and a cool move or two to get you on the dance floor. The price is $15 and you can take BOTH classes for that price. There IS a social dance with live music after the dance. If you'd like to attend that, it's an additional $10 for admission.
