Description
Poppy is a 5 year old pit/Shepard mix, who was rescued from the euthanasia room
of a rural Texas shelter just in the nick of time.
Her elderly owner had passed, and she was shut down and terrified.
I pulled her from that desperate situation, and got her here to Upstate NY.
She now needs her forever home.
She has been through a lot, and needs an experienced, kind owner
who can give her stability, routine, patience, and love.
She has made huge strides in the 6 weeks I have had her, and is now showing her playful, relaxed, sweet side.
She must be the ONLY pet, as she was apparently never socialized with other dogs, and is cat reactive.
She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, h/w negative, and a medium size girl.
She walkers easily on a leash, has a low/ medium activity level, and is a very easy dog to have.
She knows how to amuse herself, and can be left alone for 8 hours with no issues.
I would love to find her a quiet home with a retired person, ideally, as that is what she was used to.
There will be a small adoption application for her, and a small rehoming fee.
Please consider this girl, she needs to find her forever home soon. Please send a quick email if interested.
