Description
I use a treadmill daily, not very strenuous, 3.5 mph, 5% incline, and do 1 hour daily. Due to a bit of balance problem I hold onto the "handlebars" while walking which of course takes away the 'arm swing' that's a part of the walking exercise. I understand this reduces a little of the caloric burn, but I don't think a great amount. I am HWP, rather slight build.
I also deal with nagging knee and ankle pain, and have begun the use of a topical gel, it's the same formula as Voltaren. I apply it before the treadmill walk and I'm into second week with this, and relief is slight at best, perhaps treatment is long term? And true relief may need to come from a 'knee wrap' of which I find there are many and their claims are sometimes hard to believe.
Any ideas or thoughts of course greatly appreciated.
