Howdy ya'll! I'm a 32-year-old male guitarist. I just moved to Seattle and I'm hoping to connect with some folks even if it's just to jam occasionally, but eventually I'd love to be in a band again. I'm open to joining an existing band, but not if the relationship is me being a Circus Monkey* that just plays what someone tells me to. My last band was kind of a roots/blues rock/Americana band, but I'm open-minded and into all kinds of music. I can play acoustic and electric, lead and rhythm, and I'm decent with a slide. My all-time favorites include Allman Brother's Band, Dire Straights, Thin Lizzy, Wilco, Tom Petty, CCR. Lately I've been getting into Drive-by Truckers, Jason Isbell, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Charley Crockett, Shakey Graves, Calexico, Billy Strings...I've also been trying to get into jazz, like Charlie Christian, Django Reinhardt, Julian Lage, Les Paul...so yeah, eclectic taste in music.
