JJ is a 18 year old chestnut Appendix quarter horse mare. I have had her since she was 1 1/2 years old. We used to compete in eventing, dressage, and stadium jumping when we were both younger. The last 5+ years we have enjoyed trail riding together. She is a great, dependable, amazing, sweet mare who is very loved. I just no longer have the time she deserves. She does require an intermediate rider or above. She is really easy going and easy to ride, but she may take advantage of a beginner. She needs a bit of a firm hand. She would be great for a young rider taking lessons, who is interested in beginner level showing. Or she would make a great companion for hitting the trails. She has a lot of good years left and I would love to see her living the life to the fullest. She is 15.3 hands, great for the farrier, sound, trailer loads great, and an easy keeper
