Indie-Pop Project Looking for Band Members

Meets

Seattle WA

Description

Hello! My name is Mandi (she/her) and I have an indie-pop project called Lane Lines. I am a vocalist with a background in choral, jazz, and harmonic singing. My influences include Imogen Heap, The Japanese House, Kimbra, Christine & the Queens, Fleet Foxes, Alvvays, and Diane Coffee.  I recently moved back to Seattle after being in Phoenix for 2 years, where I had a band. Now that I'm in Seattle, it's time to book some new players. I'm currently working on my second album, so I'm hoping to book some shows sometime after the new year. First album can be heard here: http://lanelinesmusic.bandcamp.com/ I am looking for a guitarist (possibly 2), a bassist, a drummer, and a member that is comfortable using pads with pre-loaded samples. Vocal experience is a plus, but not necessary. Here is a sample of our live setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9uNhm6MioI Practice would ideally be held bi-weekly at a location TBA, but somewhere in the greater Seattle area, as I do not have a vehicle. Additionally looking for someone who shares the same values: supporter of LBGTQIA+ rights, BLM, women's rights, accessibility & sustainability, mental health awareness, and all-around being a good human being to others. If you are interested in joining, and feel like you're a good fit, please answer the questions below, and hopefully you and I can meet up over some coffee to discuss further details: 1. Who are some of your musical inspirations? 2. Are you currently employed and/or in school? Additionally, how do you generally spend your free time (hobbies and such)? 3. If provided music, after how much time rehearsing on your own do you expect to have your parts learned? Looking forward to hearing from you!
