Local property management company is currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated and driven individual to fill a position as Maintenance Associate to add to our team. This individual would be responsible for providing basic residential maintenance for managed properties throughout the triad and surrounding areas. We are looking for a strong candidate to bring a full range of skills to the table. Including troubleshooting electrical, plumbing and a wide variety of general issues. The position will be responsible for completing maintenance items in a timely and professional manor. Candidate should have strong customer service skills, be able to work as a team player but work independently, be dependable and honest and have a clean driving record. Position would entail: 1) Finding creative solutions for problems 2) Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment 3) Perform Preventative maintenance items when detected 4) Record detailed notes on work orders such as parts, prices and time 5) Repair items such as sinks, showers, light switches, toilets, locks, lights etc. 6) Assist in monitoring maintenance performed by outside contractors 7) Make ready units for new move ins 8) Special projects and other assigned responsibilities as needed 9) Maintain company vehicle, tools and company owned items 10) Basic computer skills and ability to create a schedule 11) Company vehicle provided for business use only The position is Full-time (40 hour) Monday - Friday, Some after hours and Overtime available Hourly rate: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour based on experience
