This is a full-time hourly position in the metal recycling industry, located in Fort Worth, TX. We are looking for a person who is mechanically inclined and has strong work ethics, who is friendly with a “can do” attitude and has the ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment. Under the general direction of the maintenance supervisor this position is responsible for supporting various maintenance functions including custodial/groundskeeper and parts runner. Qualifications • Must comply with Safety Procedures/Rules and Company Policies and Procedures. • Must have great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. • Must be a quick learner. • Must be capable of performing a wide range of physical activities. • Must be able to lift up to 50 – 100 pounds at any given time. • Must be able to stand for the entire duration of shift. • Must be able to work in uncontrolled work environment with exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust. • Ability to use hand and power tools. • There is no minimal educational requirement, but specialized training is a plus (ex: machinery experience, maintenance repair, knowledge of electrical systems, lockout/tagout). • Must have and maintain a State of Texas driver’s license. • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. • Bilingual preferred.
