Please do not email or text your phone number to people claiming to have pets for rehoming. It’s a scam. Also, if they have a picture of the animal and their phone number on the picture and state “small rehoming fee” it’s a scam. If they tell you they are out of state and need you to send them a gift card to hold your pet or to send your pet, it’s a scam! Watch out for fake pictures. If it doesn’t look real or the dog is to “perfect” most of the time it’s a scam. Lastly, if they have a post and it says he and then she and as you scroll down it turns from a dog to a cat or cat to a dog, it’s a scam. Be safe! Just don’t want to see anyone get ripped off.
