We are a private family farm in the mountains of Tennessee and we are looking for our small plot farmer! We are in the major infrastructure phase of building out our new property. We are looking for a long term individual who loves the outdoors and wants to see their work come to fruition! We are building the classic American farm. Duties include: Managing production of vegetables includes but is not limited to scheduling and implementing the rotation, tillage, planting, fertilization, irrigation and crop protection for each of the many cultivars. Organizing the flower gardens, planting and cuttings. Setting up the new orchards. Managing the gardens at the main house, mowing and weed eating and general upkeep of the gardens. Working with the rest of the farm crew with rotational milking of our dairy cow. Must have a great sense of humor, work well independently and with a group. We hate micro managing. Let your work ethic shine! Shared housing. Farm perks include fresh milk, cheese, eggs, veggies and hunting rights on our 375 acres. 1 week PTO. NO VAX REQUIRED!!!!
