Im a fairly recent transplant to Clatsop County. Ive been a professional bass player and singer for over 50 years. Multiple genre, roots of all kind. 2014 Sacramento Blues Society Hall of Fame inductee. My wife (she plays rubboard, triangle, uke and misc percussion) and I played zydeco with the Bayou Boys, the Poole Boys (In the movie Perfect Cowboy) and with my band, Joe Lev and Friends. I also played with the Funky Gators for a number of years. We are hoping to find some North Coast zydecoers. I have a guitar player and drummer ready to go. We just need an accordion player (diatonic and piano key, either or both) and maybe a fiddle player. Vocals a plus.
