CAN YOU HELP US LIVE❓️All 3 dogs will die (be put to sleep) on 10/13. Why? – Sadly, each one of these dogs is struggling in their kennel, and the shelter euthanizes dogs not coping well. They don't deserve to die because a non-caring person dumped them in a shelter. Read about each dog below, call , OR go directly to the East Shelter (2630 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201) to save 1 of their lives. They are all good loving dogs. BUGSY: #A4755169 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 3-year-old, neutered, brown/white American Pit Bull Terrier mix (43 lbs.) I’m a stray dog who has been at the shelter since July waiting for my family to come get me. I’m friendly, like attention, lean in for pets, take treats politely, and will “sit” on command. I’m easy to leash and walk better on-leash when harnessed. When assessed with other dogs, I seemed to prefer calm females. ❤ COSTELLO: #A4762651 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 2-year-old, neutered black/tan German Shepherd (53 lbs.). I was surrendered because I guarded my owner around strangers. I was good with the 14-yr-old in the home and was potty and crate trained. I’m friendly, gentle, and loving! I listen well, “sit” when asked, take treats gently, don’t mind being brushed, and have been well-behaved around other dogs. I’m a moderate pull when walked. ❤ NIKO: #A4770157 (Required to be only dog) I’m a 3-year-old, black/tan German Shepherd (57 lbs.). I was surrendered because I didn’t get along with the owner’s dogs, but I was good with the children, potty trained, and non-destructive when left alone. I’m an affectionate boy that loves back rubs and will lean in and wag my tail when getting petted. I come when called, am easy to leash, walk nicely on-leash, and “sit” for treats and take them gently. I would be best suited for a home with older children and no small animals. ❤ PLEASE REMEMBER!! All these dogs have been living in a high-stress environment and will need time to de-stress and relax!! They will need a quiet home with structure and routine. Unless noted above that there is an only dog requirement, it is possible that with a SLOW INTRODCTION, any could live with another dog.
