Everyone meet little Otis. It breaks my heart that I have to rehome him, but it’s only because I love him and want to best for him. Otis is a 1 1/2 year old neutered, litter-trained 2.5 lb broken chocolate mini rex rabbit. He’s very active and loves to do little jump-twists in the air and run laps around the room. He’s never lived in a cage before he’s only ever lived in a dog playpen or free roam in a room due to his active nature. Although he’s not a super cuddler (most rabbits aren’t) he lives for being scratched on the head (especially between the ears!) and just talked to. Not to mention I’ve taken him on walks outside using a rabbit harness, which he does very well with. I live at a college, and he is not happy here. It’s a stressful environment and I’m not giving him as much attention as I should be, as he really just wants to be near someone, and I’m constantly in class or working. When he’s bored he will act out, so I need him to go to someone who can give him all the space and attention that I lack. He wouldn’t make it in a cage, he’d have to be free roam, indoor hutch, or playpen at the very least. Otis doesn’t like other rabbits, however loves everything else. He’s very curious about cats, he’ll just follow them around the room and poke them to try to get their attention, it’s quite cute. He eats timothy hay out of his litter box and has never had an accident outside of it. He’s a good boy, just needs more than what I have. I ask $100 for him as he is neutered, litter-trained, AND a pure bred mini rex. I can include his litter box, left-over hay, toys, and other miscellaneous things. We are located in Bucks county. I’m not just going to rehome him to anyone, I want to make sure he goes to the perfect person who will give him the perfect life. I will call/facetime someone who inquiries.
