Description
Yeah, the multi-year posting keyboard player who wants to be treated like a rock star is pretty funny.
He obviously doesn't understand that his craft is a commodity and thousands of people are good at
it who are willing to play for the joy of it, not trying to make a living like he is.
So, if you know someone who has the goods and you can leach off them for a period of time (sounds like
this guy's history) all the power to you. Just realize YOU don't have the goods and nobody cares about the
fact that you can play the piano well. Good piano players are a dime a dozen and you'll be treated as such until you can
develop your own "goods" that people desire and pay a premium. Just playing with someone "good" doesn't do it.
They obviously aren't putting YOU on their resume. LOL.
Just being another keyboard player doesn't get you anywhere but maybe in a low level cover band, making $50/night luggin your own equipment and practicing like so many others do. You are no different my friend, and your mult-year posting just proves the point.
