This recruitment is for Temporary Sr. Custodian positions through UCI’s internal temporary service. UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) is continuously seeking applicants to assist in filling the temporary needs of the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine and the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates. Duties include: Daily floor care Deep bathroom cleaning and disinfecting Deep kitchen cleaning and disinfecting Additional tasks as necessary (i.e. furniture moving) Wash outside windows blinds and screens, cleans glass doors inside and out Hang and remove window coverings and curtains Remove and dispose of trash, empty and clean wastebaskets and other receptacles Clean baseboard and exhaust fans Carpet machine cleaning Performs general cleaning tasks as needed Required: Previous custodial experience Preferred: Valid California Driver's License Experience with floor buffing, window cleaning and carpet machine cleaning.
