It started with taking away body autonomy with the banning of abortions. Woman no longer have the right to do what they want with their own bodies. They will then further erode the freedom of individuals by banning same sex marriage and any other self expression. People will no longer be able to be left alone to be whoever they want to be.  Free speech will be taken away as they further ban books on race and identity. All forms of art will be eradicated. Just like the drama with the Hocus-Pocus 2 movie, any form of mere fantasy will be deemed evil to them. Anything that does not fit into their Christian agenda will cease to exist. They will do this all in the name of freedom, even though it is fascism. This country fought tooth and nail in World War II to eradicate individuals like this. Do not let all those people die in vain. Right now everyone is scared because of the rampant crime and homelessness. Do not let this be the reason you vote in their agenda. They speak the same lies of every other politician who gives us promises of solutions, yet the solution will not be found at the local level. Every other city in this country is just as bad with the drug addiction and homelessness. It is the US that is falling apart, not Portland. It has been crumbling under the leadership of the right, and the left. It is the greed of both parties that is causing it. We need to block these Christian nationalists before it becomes too late. These people live in fear of change and anything that is not uniformity. They will start with small laws here and there, and it will eventually turn into another bloody genocide. These types of people have a history of doing this.
